The group was formed following the amalgamation of two separate regional timber transport groups – the Stirling Timber Transport Liaison Group and the Tayside Timber Transport Group.
The combined group covers Angus, Clackmannanshire, Perth & Kinross and Stirling Council areas and also works in Fife and West Dunbartonshire.
The Timber Transport Forum supports forestry by ensuring that the timber industries can access forests and market timber in a sustainable way.
